There is a choice of PVC cable, for general purpose applications, or high-flex PUR cable, for extra chemical resistance (typically to oil based products) or continuous flexing applications where cable durability is required.

Both materials provide protection from electric shock, as well as resistance to oils and abrasion. On one end is a threaded female M8 connector and the other end is unterminated, so you can adapt it to suit your system. To ensure optimal electrical conductivity, the contacts are made of copper alloy. A sensor actuator cable like this one is frequently used with conveyor belt proximity sensors and transducers.
