The Kanguru FlashTrust firmware USB flash drive is an unencrypted, USB 3.0 flash drive with onboard, trusted secure firmware (RSA-2048 bit) to protect against any potential risk of malicious attacks like "BadUSB". The digitally signed, trusted firmware offers consumers and organizations the same level of secure firmware protection typically reserved for encrypted high-end flash drives, to unencrypted USB device users. The Kanguru FlashTrust uses the same level of secure firmware protection typically reserved for hardware encrypted flash drives. However, the FlashTrust is designed for those customers and organizations that, while still concerned about security and physical quality, may not require the specific usage scenarios or additional costs of hardware encrypted solutions. As a secure firmware drive, it is ideal for whitelisting as a trusted device for highly-secure organizations and for use with Endpoint Security environments.
