Constructed for professional electrical applications, the STANLEY® FATMAX® VDE Long Nose Pliers – 160mm feature a 1,000V rated handle, and are compliant to EN60900, IEC/CEI900 and VDE0686 safety standards. The bi-material handle design with secure grip grooving provides excellent comfort, grip and control, while the interlocking joint assembly enables smooth cutting. The long nose format with tapering jaws makes these pliers particularly suitable for gripping and manoeuvring wire in confined spaces. Individually tested to 10,000V, these robust pliers ensure safe live line working to 1,000V. Forged from heat-treated high chrome steel for exceptional durability and long product life, they are equipped with hand-ground, induction hardened blades for outstanding accuracy and strength, and feature a varnish coating for excellent corrosion resistance. These precision-machined pliers are manufactured to the highest quality standards and specifications, and stringently tested, at the STANLEY® factory in Besançon, France, which delivers consistently superior tools thanks to its exceptionally accurate production methods.
