TFA 15.2015 - Digital medical thermometer

The TFA 15.2015 digital medical thermometer is used to measure body temperature. The thermometer uses an acoustic signal to check readiness for operation and the end of the measurement. The measurement result takes approx. 60 to 90 seconds, always depending on the measurement method. Waterproof. Automatic shut-off to save battery (after approx. 10 minutes).


Measuring methods:
In the oral cavity (orally) - the measurement sensor must have good contact with the mouth. Close the mouth and breathe in slowly through the nose, minimum measurement time: 1 minute.
In the anus (rectally) - this is the surest method of measurement. It is particularly suitable for infants and young children. Carefully insert the tip of the thermometer 1-2 cm into the anus. Minimum measurement time: 1 minute.
Under the arm (axillary) - this type of measurement is unsuitable for taking accurate measurements. Minimum measurement time: 5-10 minutes!
