Patch cord is dedicated for cross connections at distribution points or connections between different networking components. Shielded construction for places especially threatened by the impact of electromagnetic interference.

Category 6 product (Class E, extended characteristics up to 475MHz) designed to transmit data at speeds up to 1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-T).
It can be used in various types of networks, such as LAN, WAN or SAN, and is designed for connections between network devices such as routers, switches or computers. It is also suitable for audio and video transmission.
In order to maintain the declared parameters, according to the standard, the maximum length of a cable section (transmission path) should not exceed 90m, assuming that two patch cables of not more than 5m in length are connected to the terminations (keystone module or patch-panel). The advantage over category 5e is that on shorter distances (up to 37-55m) the transmission path based on category 6 components can reach data rates of up to 10 Gbps.
Category 6 products are backward-compatible with components of lower categories such as patch-panels or RJ45 keystone modules.
Shielded cable F/UTP (Foiled/Unshielded Twisted Pair, designation in accordance with ISO/IEC 11801). The shield in the form of aluminum foil has been placed over the entire cable center, additionally between the shield and the sheath there is a ground wire. This construction provides increased resistance to electromagnetic interference (EMI), and can ensure higher quality and security of data transmission, compared to unshielded cables. The shield is a key protection, thanks to which the data transmission cable can be in close proximity to electrical and signal cables and devices that may be a source or carrier of electromagnetic interference.
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) - is a type of plastic used for the production of insulating coatings commonly used in cables, which have an indoor application. It is a material, durable and very flexible, but due to its relatively low production cost it remains a product with significant drawbacks. It emits a lot of smoke and contains halogens, which means it is less safe in the event of a fire than LSOH flame retardant coatings.
The product is in gray color, resistant to dirt. For easier identification of wires in cable routes, colored Velcro ties or other organizational accessories can be sited.
