Oud Essentiel für Männer und Frauen von Guerlain wurde 2017 veröffentlicht und ist ein Aroma, das durch ein Bouquet aus duftenden holzigen, rauchigen und balsamischen Duftnoten hervorgehoben wird, die ein mysteriöses, sinnliches und weiches Duftgefühl hervorrufen. Der Duft basiert auf der Kombination der Noten Guerlain Oud Essentiel und ist als Woody Spicy Leather Duft für die Nase einzustufen. Die Duftkomposition ist eine Kreation von Thierry Wasser. Der Beginn der Geschmacks- und Duftnoten von Oud Essentiel entfaltet sich zu einem Duft aus blumigen und würzigen Kopfnoten, darunter Pelargonie und Safran. Die blumigen und holzigen Herznoten vermischen sich mit Oud, während die tiefen Holz- und Leder-Basisnoten einen Eindruck von Weihrauch, Zedern- und Guajakholz hinterlassen.
